The black textured dial evokes the distinct beauty of the Hotaka mountain range, with its many dark peaks and ridges formed by volcanic activity. This dial sits inside a steel case that measures 44mm in diameter and 14.9mm in thickness. Alternating mirror-polished and hairline surfaces across different planes give it a unique sparkle. With its down-turned lugs and crown moved from three o'clock and offset to the four o'clock position, SBGE277 wears comfortably on the wrist. The rotating bezel has a durable sapphire overlay with LumiBrite underneath, as do the dial indexes and hands. Visible through the exhibition case back is Spring Drive caliber 9R66.
