Lux Bond & Green is currently seeking an experienced Jewelry Buyer to join the team in our Jewelry Buying Office. The Jewelry Buyer is responsible for the timely and accurate ordering, receiving, and stocking of assigned vendors. The buyer also assists with the day-to-day operations in the office such as transfers, tickets, etc.


  • Manage, buy, and oversee assigned jewelry brands to include inventory, ROI, special orders, repairs, and the overall communication and relationship. Take a proactive approach in managing inventory levels, evaluating return on investment, and overall analysis of sales trends and store performance.
  • Handle additional assigned vendors including the processing of special orders and inquiries. Communicate special order information to the vendors and our sales associates, providing timely responses on inquiries. Process purchase orders, receiving’s and stock balancing of assigned vendors which includes monthly updates to management and assigned vendors.
  • Stocking of diamonds, and trade-ins when needed. Stocking of special orders and stock merchandise. Assist with stock balancing and other duties. 
  • Processing returns of memo goods and returns for credit. Maintain excellent records for all memo reporting.
  • Assisting to improve efficiencies and update procedures in the buying office
  • Catalog support: Coordinate the merchandise to be sent to the selection meeting/photography for the Holiday catalog.  Working with the buyers to determine the items selected, create SKUs for partner jewelers’ items, and write purchase orders for all non-branded items.  Major designers will be ordered by their JBO representatives.  Ensure that Marketing has all SKUs for the flip books on the intranet.
  • Process Foreign receiving’s, converting invoices to USD where necessary and approving Fed Ex duties and freight charges.
  • Assist with daily operations such as opening packages and creating the receiving log. Confirm product shipment with invoice and match up to a PO if one was created.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by management



  • Excellent computer skills, including use of Excel
  • Previous jewelry/watch buying experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding jewelry and the ability to quality control
  • Knowledge of the retail inventory systems is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude



  • Team player willing and capable of cross-training with other JBO positions
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency in responding to store and vendor requests.





We are currently seeking a Full-time Service Technician is an integral part of our Service/Repair team in the West Hartford store.  This position involves a great deal of customer contact and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail when taking in and tracking jewelry and watch repairs.



  • Working directly with customers at the service counter to process incoming jewelry, watches, and other repair items.  
  • Assisting customers with the pick-up and sale of repair goods. Quality control finished jobs and contact customers when jobs are completed.  
  • Advising customers on all incoming jewelry and watch repairs providing close attention to condition issues, item descriptions, etc.
  • Processing transactions through the repair computer module
  • Handling minor on-site repairs such as watch sizing and battery replacement
  • Working closely with outside Vendors and Manufacturers and processing outgoing work to them as needed.  
  • Fielding incoming inquiries from customers via phone and email.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisors


  • Strong computer skills including mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency with typing and keyboard use is important when processing customer transactions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional phone and communication etiquette including the use of in-house texting and email programs
  • Dedicated team player able to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Manual dexterity capable of working with small repairs
  • Prior experience in the jewelry/watch industry is strongly preferred




We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Professional for our store located in the Shops at Somerset Square in Glastonbury. The primary responsibility of a Full-time Sales Associate is to provide outstanding customer service to all clients advising them on jewelry, watch, and gift selections. In addition, responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, store maintenance, and becoming proficient on all store systems. 



  • Develop strong client relationships to meet and exceed monthly sales goals. Practice suggestive selling and offer all customers add-on items in order to drive multiple unit sales
  • Handle all aspects of selling fine jewelry & watches in a professional, highly productive manner embracing and applying Lux Bond & Green’s core values of Customer Service, Teamwork, Communication, Confidentiality, Respect, and Integrity in every interaction.
  • Complete all sales and service documentation and related responsibilities including gift-wrapping, shipping, special orders, thank you notes, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cultivate customer relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional customer service. Regularly outreach to potential customers through networking, community events, etc. to get customers into the store. Keep a client book and contact customers on a regular basis using e-mail, texts, event invitations, etc.
  • Embrace the use of multiple forms of technology including regular use of Podium to communicate with clients, obtain customer reviews, and accept payments. 
  • Develop strong knowledge of all store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales
  • Understand and properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure quick and efficient transactions including capturing customer data
  • Coordinate social media for the Glastonbury store including TikTok and providing content to the corporate marketing department.
  • Store Maintenance: keep merchandise displays fresh, exciting, properly stocked, and presented in an organized and attractive fashion. Ensure the store is outstanding in its appearance and cleanliness by assisting with daily cleaning of giftware and jewelry areas (e.g., no fingerprints on cases or merchandise), vacuuming, and overall housekeeping of the store (trash removal, dusting, etc.) as well as assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of bathrooms and lunchroom
  • Security: ensure all security procedures are followed on a daily basis such as maintaining proper coverage on the sales floor, showing one piece of merchandise at a time, locking all cases and being constantly aware of activity in the store


  • Experience in the luxury jewelry and watch market is strongly preferred 
  • Knowledge of luxury watches is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results.
  • Ability to prospect and develop strong customer relationships
  • Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft Outlook/email.
  • This position requires standing most of the day and good manual dexterity to work with and show small pieces of jewelr
