AVAILABLE POSITIONS:


PART-TIME SALES OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE: WELLESLEY, MA

 

Lux Bond & Green is currently seeking a Part-time Sales Operations Associate to handle a myriad of duties which support the Wellesley store.  Diligence is required in handling a multitude of responsibilities whether it is processing transfers, checking in new merchandise, or handling the shipping of internet purchases. The position is for approximately 24 hours per week. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Process Transfers and Receiving - handle transfer activities from preparing shipments going out to receiving the new merchandise coming into the store including alerting sales staff of priority or high value items.
  • Process all orders for internet fulfillment in a timely manner in coordination with the corporate internet department.
  • Maintain strong inventory control by doing regular spot checks on various vendors to maintain correct inventory counts. 
  • Efficiently handle all store price changes and/or vendor returns.
  • Oversee the organization of the stock room ensuring all giftware merchandise is represented on the sales floor and replenished from downstairs when items are sold. 
  • Handle supply orders including boxes for shipping, gift boxes, and maintaining the supply area. Also maintain and organize the watch box inventory with the certificates. 
  • Participate with social media for the Wellesley store including assisting with TikTok and providing content to the corporate marketing department as needed.
  • When the customer count is high, assist the sales staff by gift wrapping, retrieving merchandise from the stockroom, handling phone calls, assisting with lengthy sales transactions, and replenishing supplies. 
  • Any other duties assigned by management including assisting with store maintenance and cleanliness, preparing the store for opening & closing, ensuring the store is in pristine condition for customers, etc. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  

·         strong computer proficiency

·         excellent typing skills

·         meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

·         the ability to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities

·         understanding of Point-of-Sale systems and prior retail experience is strongly preferred.

·         experience using various forms of social media is required.

FULL-TIME JEWELRY/WATCH SALES PROFESSIONAL: WESTPORT, CT

We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Professional for our store located on Main Street in Westport, CT. The primary responsibility of a Full-time Sales Associate is to provide outstanding customer service to all clients advising them on jewelry, watch, and gift selections. In addition, responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, store maintenance, and becoming proficient on all store systems.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: 

  • Develop strong client relationships to meet and exceed monthly sales goals. Practice suggestive selling and offer all customers add-on items in order to drive multiple unit sales.  
  • Handle all aspects of selling fine jewelry & watches in a professional, highly productive manner embracing and applying Lux Bond & Green’s core values of Customer Service, Teamwork, Communication, Confidentiality, Respect, and Integrity in every interaction.  
  • Complete all sales and service documentation and related responsibilities including gift-wrapping, shipping, special orders, thank you notes, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cultivate customer relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional customer service. Regularly outreach to potential customers through networking, community events, etc. to get customers into the store. Keep a client book and contact customers on a regular basis using e-mail, texts, event invitations, etc.
  • Embrace the use of multiple forms of technology including regular use of Podium to communicate with clients, obtain customer reviews, and accept payments.
  • Develop strong knowledge of all store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales.
  • Understand and properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure quick and efficient transactions including capturing customer data.
  • Store Maintenance: keep merchandise displays fresh, exciting, properly stocked, and presented in an organized and attractive fashion. Ensure the store is outstanding in its appearance and cleanliness by assisting with daily cleaning of giftware and jewelry areas (e.g., no fingerprints on cases or merchandise), vacuuming, and overall housekeeping of the store (trash removal, dusting, etc.) as well as assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of bathrooms and lunchroom.
  • Security: ensure all security procedures are followed on a daily basis such as maintaining proper coverage on the sales floor, showing one piece of merchandise at a time, locking all cases and being constantly aware of activity in the store.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience in the luxury jewelry and watch market is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of luxury watches is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results.
  • Ability to prospect and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft Outlook/email.
  • This position requires standing most of the day and good manual dexterity to work with and show small pieces of jewelry.
