Penny Preville First inspired by the sparking treasures in her grandmother's jewelry box, Penny Preville has emerged as an award winning designer whose signature style is defined by femininity, luxury, and an eye for intricate detail. Preville studied art design and jewelry making from an early age through college and soon after began selling one-of-a kind pieces that would come to be her namesake collection. "I am influenced by fashion and culture, but I also believe in continuity and that a designer should remain true to their style," Preville explains. "But it's a process. Jewelry is very personal and individual to the wearer. My goal is to keep designing pieces that will make a woman look and feel fabulous about herself." Penny Preville's entrepreneurial spirit and natural talent propelled her into winning her first award, the 1978 JA New Designer of the Year. Numerous awards were to follow through the years including The Blenheim Award for Continued Excellence in Design, Town & Country Diamond Designers Excellence Award, Town & Country Outstanding Achievement in Advertising and Marketing and The Women's Jewelers Association Award for Excellence in Design. She was chosen as one of the leading American Jewelry Designers by the World Gold Council, and asked to participate and contribute to its International Gold Trends Book. Preville has been interviewed on CNN Entrepreneurs Show and profiled and featured in many fashion and trade magazines, such as InStyle, W, Town&Country, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Elite Traveler, as well as many top regional publications. Preville's wedding ring designs have twice been highlighted on The Today Show 'Throws a Wedding' segment and featured in top bridal publications.
